Davisville was founded by John Davis in 1840. In the 1920s and 1930s, many single family homes were built in the neighbourhood, and still stand today. In the 1970s, condominium towers and apartment buildings were constructed in the Davisville area.
Centrally located, this neighbourhood is popular with singles, young couples and families, and features a wealth of amenities including shopping, bars, restaurants and movie theatres.
