Over 23,000 people live in Davisville Village, making it a densely populated area that continues to grow in popularity among Torontonians. Davisville Village History
Davisville was founded by John Davis in 1840. During this time, he opened the first post office in the community and took on the role of postmaster. Today, the original post office building on the north-east corner of Davisville Avenue and Yonge Street serves as a Starbucks! Davis also founded the Davisville Pottery Company, which employed many residents of the neighbourhood.
